Nine metres of stratification, taken out of the roof
Ockley Bar Logistics
Warm air collects at the roof of a high-bay warehouse and the people work at the floor. We measured an eleven-degree difference between 1.5 m and 9 m before anything was changed.
The answer was not a bigger heater. It was twelve destratification fans, radiant heat aimed at the pick faces rather than at the whole volume, and air curtains that stop running the moment the dock door closes.
Metered gas over the following winter came back 31% down against the same degree-day count. That number is the client’s meter, not our estimate.
Same problem, different building?
Ring us or book the survey. Either way the first thing we do is measure what is actually happening in the room.
