HOLLICK & VANE

Since 2009

A heating firm that still answers its own phone

Tom Hollick and Sarah Vane started with one van and a lock-up in Byker. 17 years on there are 14 engineers, a yard in Walker, and still no call centre.

Three rules we have not broken

We say when not to

Around a quarter of people who ask us about a heat pump leave with a boiler quote, because that was the right answer for their house this year.

The surveyor leads the install

Nobody arrives on install day to find the plan does not match the house. The person who measured it is there.

One price, in writing

If the survey was wrong, that is our problem. We have not sent an invoice above its quote since 2016.
