Gas boiler replacement

Not every house is ready for a heat pump this year, and not every budget is. When a boiler has failed or is on its last legs, a good replacement done properly is the right call, and we will not try to talk you out of it.

One day, start to finish

We arrive at eight, protect the floors, and drain the system. The old boiler comes off the wall and the new one goes up, on the same flue position where the regulations allow. By mid-afternoon it is firing, the system is flushed and dosed with inhibitor, and the controls are set. We are gone before the school run.

What makes a boiler last

Most early boiler failures come from dirty water: sludge from old radiators clogging the heat exchanger. Every install includes a chemical flush and a magnetic filter on the return pipe. It is the cheapest thing we fit and the one that matters most.

Combi or system?

For up to three bedrooms and one bathroom, a combi heats water on demand and frees up the airing cupboard. With two bathrooms in use at once, a system boiler and a cylinder keep the showers strong. The estimator picks one for you by bedroom count; the survey confirms it.
